Creating a Reunion Announcement

So your class is planning some sort of reunion activity. You can use the Hoover Alumni Association website to post announcements as well as create a website on which you can post memoryes, missing classmate lists, and photos of your activities.

  1. Log into the Hoover Alumni Association website.
  2. Go to the Reunion an Announcements forum.
  3. Use the Post New Page option to create the new announcement.
  4. Enter a descriptive title that people will understand. The suggestion is to use the following format so the postings will sort and group together when viewed: "Class of 'year - reunion number". Use this information as the start of the title, you can add dates and other information after that.
  5. You can now follow the directions on Authoring content.
  6. Be sure to update the announcement as you solidify your plans.
  7. After the reunion consider Creating a class information page/site on the Hoover Alumni Association website. You can post comments and up load pictures about the reunion for others to share.
