Creating an account
Creating an account is simple. There are a couple key pieces of information that you must provide, but everything else is optional. Please provide as much information as you feel comfortable with. The information you provide is only shared with other users with accounts that are logged in.
- From any page, go to the User Login block on the upper right side of the page.
- To create a new account, select Create new account. See below for details on what to provide.
- To login to our site, enter your Username and password.
- If you forget your password Use the Request new password link and the site will send you an email with that information. Provide the email address that you used for the website and your password will be sent there.
Information Section
Minimally in the Account Information you have to provide a valid email address and create a password. Your email address is used to validate your account, so it must be accurate. This is not shared with anyone.
Personal Section
A name is required in this area. Please use this real name, espeically if your username is not. This will allow other authenticated users to see a real name instead of a cryptic userid.
The email address in this section is displayed to users, this field is optional. See information about the Contact form for an alternate way for people to contact you.
